Dear Newgrounds,

Today I deleted my social media accounts. They don't make me feel seen like you do. Newgrounds my beloved, how I cherish you so. You were there to provide quality entertainment to me as a young man, so many flash games, so many parody animations. (Where else could you see Pikachu getting shotgun blasted in the face?) Even when I was away from you, your influence was everywhere. Castle Crashers. Binding of Isaac. Alien Hominid. Friday Night Funkin. My favorite Youtubers were Newgrounds affiliates, Game Grumps (Jon Era), OneyPlays. At some point I fell in love with the Sleepycast and have listened to each episode at least 3 times (I'm due for a 4th). I could go on!

All I wanna say is thanks for being you Newgrounds. I feel like I'm home, but this time I'm a contributor. And it feels right.

Bless you Tom Fulp and the Newgrounds community. I can only hope this is the beginning of a fruitful relationship. Stay cool you glorious bastards.
